Ciro Esposito
Founder, Pizza Maker

Born in Napoli, Italy being part of a gastronomic family business, his first steps were in a Bakery in 1990 making bread from scratch is where he found his passion.

In 1993 he served in the military service working in the kitchen and making bread, at the end of his duty, his family moved out of the city to a small town between Napoli and Rome where they had a vacation home. There, he opened his first pizza place, “La Bella Napoli “, where it’s was famous because of Round Neapolitan Style and Square Rome Style.

1996 in a pleasure trip to New York he decided to stay there, he worked in New York style and coal fire oven pizzeria. During 4 years, tired of the big city, he went back to Italy where he found a job in a Hotel Restaurant being a chef and a pizza baker, after a year when the currency change to Euro, he noticed it wasn’t the same, so bravely he took the risk and went back to United States (Miami), he worked in many pizzerias for many years. In 2015 in a trip to Italy he felt that he needed to go in his own, he bought a oven not just any oven, a very prestigious company that has a list of great ovens, and that’s when he decided to open his own place. Like life is, nothing was easy, not only because big cities has his requirements to rent places but to find the perfect spot was impossible; until he realized he could do it in a Food Truck, calling his place Acqua e Farina opening in 2017.

Acqua e Farina is a Neapolitan style but with the best of each styles that he worked with, making a unique experience with his only style.

Victoria Barrozo
Partner, Wife and Kitchen Chef

Born in Villa Mercedes (San Luis), Argentina, as a young age she started to help her sister Valentina in her bakery business called “Valentinapyd”.

In 2005, with 17 years old she moved to United States finishing her last school year, she started to work on several bakeries in Miami, her experience working with her sister helped her to be more confident in her jobs.

In 2011, life took her to a new job, a Pizza place; where Ciro Esposito was her Manager, they shared 10 years in the same kitchen, becoming best friends.

In 2017, when he opened Acqua Farina, Victoria became the new general Manager until 2022, when both realized they were meant to be together.

Guided by love they decided to start working together, but this time as their own, now Acqua e Farina wasn’t only Ciro, now it was Ciro and Vicky.

Today, both are ambitious for making this place, a unique spot, where everyone can enjoy pizza and pasta made with passion and love.
